Israel says missiles launched from Iran
The Israeli military is saying that missiles have been launched from Iran as sirens are being heard across the country.
There is no confirmation yet from Iran on an attack.

Flares and missiles are being seen in the Tel Aviv sky right now.
There is no confirmation yet on where these missiles are coming from, but as we’ve been reporting, the Israeli military, in the last few minutes, said that missiles from Iran were launched. There has been no confirmation from Iran on the attacks.

As we’ve reported, the Israeli army says missiles were launched into Israel from Iran.
“The air defence system is fully operational, detecting and intercepting threats wherever it is needed, even at these moments,” Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari said.
“Since we are dealing with different types of threats, it is possible that the alerts will operate in large areas.”
‘Non-stop’ missiles seen from West Bank
Reporting from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian journalist Mohammed Khairy says dozens of projectiles can be seen in the sky heading westward towards Jerusalem and Israel.
“The missiles are going almost non-stop. The sirens are still going off. Until this moment, they can be heard over large areas in Israel,” Khairy told Al Jazeera Arabic.
Night sky lights up in Amman
In Jordan’s capital, Amman, the night sky lit up as what appeared to be missiles streaked across it. People gathered outside to watch as an air raid alert came over the loudspeakers.
There were several thuds and explosions in the distance. This was followed by some flashes of light.
