Israeli forces ‘deliberately targeted’ medics in Balata refugee camp

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says three emergency medical technicians (EMTs) were wounded by live ammunition in the occupied West Bank after being “deliberately targeted” by Israeli soldiers.

The attack occurred despite prior coordination through the International Committee of the Red Cross as they tried to evacuate casualties in Balata refugee camp in Nablus, PRCS said on X.

“[Israeli] forces are blocking ambulances from entering the camp to evacuate our injured teams, and we remain unable to evacuate the wounded EMTs.”
