We’re getting reports of a shooting attack in Tel Aviv, with initial information saying that there are a number of casualties.
At least 10 casualties in shooting in Jaffa, say Israeli medical authorities
Medical authorities in Israel have declared a state of emergency, saying there are at least 10 casualties, but it’s unknown how many have been killed and how many have been injured.
In the video we received from the place of the incident, there are a number of people who are on the ground looking lifeless around the train tracks. These trains are set to stop operating later in the evening because of the impending Iranian attack.
But this is nothing new for Israel; they have been responding to shootings of this nature for quite some time. But it’s unclear who the shooter was, what the motives were. At this hour, they have completely sealed off the area and are still looking for the shooter.
Israeli military claim to have killed Hezbollah commander
The Israeli military says its air force has killed Hezbollah member Muhammad Jaafar Qasir in Beirut. It says Qasir was the commander of the unit responsible for the transfer of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Denmark prime minister supports military intervention in Middle East: Report
Mette Frederiksen says an international military intervention in the Middle East could be a way to impose a two-state solution and break the current deadlock.
Frederiksen urged an overhaul of the international response to the conflict, which escalated as the Israeli army said it had launched a ground offensive against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
“There is no solution in sight to what we see going on over there, and there is no point in letting things continue,” Frederiksen told Danish news agency Ritzau.
