Resistance: Fall of Man was one of PS3’s first and only successes during the early years and the sequel still hit a few million in sales. The third Resistance and the spinoffs didn’t do the numbers PlayStation were hoping for so it’s been dormant since the vita.

Warhawk only hit a million in sales according to the vgchartz and the sequel (the super fun Starhawk) flopped pretty badly. It’s a shame because I normally am not a big fan of online only games but it was so fun that I didn’t care I was playing with people online.

Wow, I didn't even know there was a sequel, they mustn't have advertised it at all or it got drown in other releases. That's a pity for sure, I'd hope they'd grow some balls though and try these IPs again, maybe market them properly. The hype generation from fans should at least bring some attention. Since they're all in on live service and remakes, a warhawk remake would be perfect for them.

It was a really fun gameBut they barely touched it with marketing. It probably could make a decent comeback though.

Resistance 3 actually had an amazing single player campaign, old style shooter with a Half-Life feel from start to finish. A remaster of that one would be great. (First 2 had OK campaigns, third one hits all the right marks)

For me

1. TloU
2. Portal 2
3. R&C Future: a Crack in Time
4. Dark Souls
5. Journey
6. Ni No Kuni
7. Skyrim
8. Dragon Age: Originins
9. Fallout New Vegas
10. Valkyria Chronicles

Honorable mentions

Wipeout HD, Little Big Planet, Rayman Origins, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Heavy Rain, NFS: Hot Pursuit

What a great generation!

I always wanted to play resistance 3. I heard they did course correction from Resistance 2 as far as horror elements with 3. I used to be kind of a wimp when it came to horror in games.
