Finished demo yesterday. Started over from beginning on PS5 after playing first 2 hours on ROG Ally. I think it took me 6-7 hours to beat it. Didn't notice any major performance issues on PS5. As for the game itself, I really loved what I played from the demo. It's like a typical Atlus game, but at the same time very different from any other Atlus game (for the most part due to fantasy setting that hasn't been used in Atlus games in the past). I expect some reviewers might not like the fact that it reuses basically all Persona 5 mechanics, but I'm all for it. The Press Turn system being used in combat is a perfect addition. This was my main wishful thinking for Persona 6, but Metaphor did it first. It's also a bit interesting that this is one of the few Atlus games where all party members are equal, and you don't get game over by MC getting killed by random crit. The last Atlus game I played that had similar approach was SH2. When the game was announced, I had some concerns regarding action elements in battle, but they play perfectly in the demo and I liked them immediately. Pre-ordered deluxe after completing the demo. Can't wait to play the full game.

P.S. I just couldn't get rid of the thoughts that this game is a perfect example of what modern Final Fantasy games could have been in terms of combat. There is no need to copy Persona mechanics, but Metaphor shows how a big turn-based fantasy JRPG can be done in modern days.

It's just the press turn system SMT has used since 2003 but yes it's great.
