I do not know who or what is a Jez Corden and why he/it matters :)

But I'm afraid I have to disagree that it is a niche. A lot of people have a console and a PC (and phone); and being able to buy one game and play it everywhere, should matter to everyone IMO. I get that even if you have a PC, it does not mean that you will play on it if you have a console.

I have 5 Xboxes and 5 PCs at home (all my kids have both a PC and an Xbox), and they are all playing on both devices. If you look at people with kids (and I would not consider this a niche); then right there, it brings a lot of value; people can just buy a console and a PC to get the best world (and it is the case for many) but then not have to buy games on both devices (which is ridiculous).

I would say that more people would do that if they knew this was possible in the first place and second if other publishers would do the same. Cause even if they know Xbox is doing that; they know it will not be possible with the rest so they probably go for a second console to save costs at the end...

1. I agree that this feature is nice in concept. My point is that in real world, it doesn't for whatever reason and no matter how much convenient it is. Otherwise, Xboxes would have been flying off the shelves at insane rates as Xbox is the only console that provided something like that.

2. On the second point, it's complicated. I think we all know, publishers will never support this as it simply makes them lose a lot of money. When back in 2016, Microsoft announced Play Anywhere, I knew third party publishers won't support that. And here we are.

It wasnt that much of a good show but at the very least Trials of Mana and FF Pixel Remasters are finally on Xbox.

I bought the FF Pixel Bundle for $60.

$10 a pop for each game, worth it.

Edit: Also noticed that its Xbox Series exclusive - not playable on XBO unlike the Playstation version which is PS4 with PS5 b/c.

That's extremely weird decision by SE not to bring Pixel Remasters to Xbox One.
