I like good graphics with games. I didn't buy a 65" 4K HDR tv to play 7th gen games... And I'm going to buy a PS5 Pro to enhance PSVR2 graphics, which has a lot more room to improve than on TV of course.
I don't care much for 60 fps on TV though, 30 fps is fine, fidelity mode is what I always choose. For VR reprojection is fine to me as well, I get more immersed by detail rather than higher frame rates.
That said, TotK was amazing, but all the while playing I couldn't help think how much the game would benefit from HDR and cleaner resolution. Since it didn't look any better on the 65", actually worse blown up too big, I played it on my old 1080p LCD tv.
And I spend a year flying around the world looking for the best looking places in FS2020.
Somewhere in Africa (at 20fps)
I guess I don't settle since I only play Mario and Zelda on the Switch. But I do play VR almost exclusively now, which is a step backwards in graphics. However also there I'm drawn more to games with higher fidelity.
