I can understand the 86MC/OC. It's a fantastic Zelda game...but you can tell the studio behind it isn't Nintendo, it's Grezzo. Very creative, the music is some of the best from a Nintendo exclusive this entire generation,... but the gameplay mechanic and the world have nowhere near the same level of polish as seen with TotK. Lots of areas where you'd expect to be rewarded by being resourceful with your "echoes" that lead either to an empty/awkward corner or an invisible wall.
EoW is very linear. It is not a sandbox nor open world experience by any means. The combat system is very neat, though it'd be nice to just swing a sword and use my shield. I've only just completed the first dungeon, so these are entirely firsr impressions of the game. In many ways, it topples TotK, but in far more ways, however, it get trampled by TotK.
