Frame gen actually wants 80+ frames as a base so it makes the Monster Hunter spec sheets even weirder as they would be running 30-40 base with upscaling to get the 60fps at 1080p listed in the specs and that sounds terrible. I still think frame gen for me is redundant at least for the time being because if a game already runs at either locked 60 or VRR 80ish then that is good enough and frame gen has to many drawbacks to consider using.
