Well. They did call all PC gamers... Pirates... Once.
And then they started to shove uDontPlay down peoples necks... Which prevented me from playing Ubisoft games anyway, haven't bought a game of theirs in a very long time due to that.

And the DRM schemes they pushed were draconic... And their games are formulaic and don't tend to deviate much, which makes their games feel samey.

I think my only regret is that if Ubisoft folds, Bluebyte might go with them... Who are responsible for The Settlers, Anno... And it might prevent future Heroes of Might and magic games being developed.

I'm still waiting for that apology to this day.

I think the only aspect of U(can't)play I liked back in the day was their points system, which allowed you to nab wallpapers, avatars for your profile and desktop, as well as getting some extra in-game items for their games. Then they ended up doing away with that for some reason (EA also had similar plans but they still have yet to do anything with it, as it is still in limbo).

Their DRM is worse than EA's imo, and their client constantly forgets login info and even comes with limited install hw DRM, which will forever be annoying.

When they eventually go under, I do hope the Anno studio gets to go independent (I'd rather they stay autonomous, than being nabbed by one of the big 3 and used as a warchest item).
