Palestinian shot and killed by Israeli forces south of Jenin
At least four others were wounded by Israeli gunfire in the town of Anza, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, Wafa news agency reports. It identified the slain Palestinian woman as 37-year-old Zuhour Qassem Amro.
Among the four injured are two women, a child, and a man in his 70s, Wafa said.
Israeli soldiers raided the town amid heavy gunfire. One Palestinian was also arrested.
Israeli forces raid Jenin refugee camp, bomb house
Israeli forces stormed Jenin and encircled the city’s two hospitals, Wafa news agency reports, before making their way into Jenin refugee camp where they detained at least five people.
The official news agency said the arrests were made in the camp’s al-Jabriyat neighbourhood where Israeli soldiers also blew up a home. Soldiers also stormed houses in other neighbourhoods across the camp, and stationed their vehicles near the entrance.
In others parts of the city, Israeli army bulldozers razed basic infrastructure, destroying streets and sidewalks, Wafa said.
