I think this one will pass quicker than the last, I'm already over it and I panicked about the last attempt  - It has happened during the NFL so a lot of people are too distracted to give a shit.
- There was no livestream this time around, no powerful image to go with it.
- The shooter didn't even get close to Trump, didn't even fire a single shot.
- Shooter seems like he needs genuine mental help and is a former disgruntled Trump voter.
- Nobody was hurt.
- It happened in Florida - Okay, I'm trolling a little with this one, Lol.
- Some already thought the last attempt was a hoax (I do not agree with that at all).
- People are probably getting sick of the chaos that follows Trump now.
- Trump will start ranting about cats and dogs again soon, sympathy is lesser when Trump and his ilk are causing bomb threats in Ohio.
- Another American-born white dude so no anti-immigrant or racist angle to go with it.
Trump will try to milk it but I think everyone is going to move on in a few days, the last attempt which happened live, actually clipped him and resulted in a powerful image didn't move polling at all and largely, nobody gave a shit, Lol. I'm already "meh" about this attempt. The shooter needs serious mental health assistance. |
The sequel is never as compelling as the original. Don't think this changes anything much. And honestly, I don't think they want to shine too much of a spotlight on conspiracy theorists gun nuts being domestic terror threats.
