Israel bombards southern Lebanon

Families flee south Lebanon after Israeli leaflets call for evacuations
Dozens of families left the border village of al-Wazzani in southern Lebanon, taking their belongings with them, on Sunday. The Israeli military dropped leaflets ordering people to leave the village and warning them immediately leave their homes and head north.
The military said the leaflets were “not approved by the Northern Command” and that “an investigation has been opened”.
United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL, peacekeepers could be seen patrolling the area as the families left.
