They were never going to not cut the fat, but without the Activision acquisition there likely would have still been some layoffs judging by the rest of the industry. |
This time around the affected positions lead me to believe Xbox might be close to done with restructuring or at least it kind of feel like they're in the last steps. The fact that no project were impacted along with other news of studios expanding I think this might be it.
