Sure, I've owned every Nintendo console that released after I was born. In-fact if they did a cheaper "Switch Home" model last-gen I would have probably bought that.
If the next Nintendo Console was just a $299 home console like the Series S with those specs that would be amazing for me. But a lot of people want portable, which means less power more money and business wise Nintendo would be silly to do a home only console even if I personally would like it.
