From what I recall, many ppl back in 2017 was saying NSW price reveal of $300 would leave it DOA. (So, to put it lightly, I think Nintendo is bold not necessarily b/c NSW saw incredible success, but b/c that’s just the way they’ve always been.)
That being said, I don’t expect a very cheap price point. Certainly nothing anywhere near $700, though I could absolutely see $500.
I was 11yo when Nintendo NX was revealed to have begun development. I will be (and am currently) 22yo when Nintendo Switch 2 is released. Following this pattern, I will be 33yo when Nintendo Switch 3 will be either revealed or released. Hence, NSW2 will have a 11y lifecycle, meaning it will sell at minimum 200mil units.
