Exactly this. I'm the customer Sony is looking at and I'm day 1 there for the console. I sell my old one and pay like $400 overall for it. It helps games perform better and that's all I want especially with FPS. 

I love the way PC games perform but I hate everything else about PC gaming so I will never go back to it.

It's a win win for Sony. A lot of people will the selling their launch PS5's, cheaper PS5s in the market to attract new customers

Didn't even think about this aspect of it but you're right. Might help Sony get more users on PS5 overall.
