The Crew 2 is $1 on Steam.

Btw Crew 1 was delisted earlier in the year and no longer playable because its completely online (was in this case).

However today they announced that Crew 2 and Crew Motorfest which were online only will now feature a offline mode.

After what the way they killed The Crew, Ubisoft can go f*ck themselves.

Also, they've announced that they're working on an offline mode, without mention of when it will be available. And we know that these announcements sometimes end with nothing as "it wasn't technically possible".

Besides, I'm sure this is an attempt to bring back players that have left the games after seeing what happened with the first one. They aren't doing it out of kindness.

Sony PlayStation 5 Pro costs $699, launches November 7

$700 USD for a console is insane. Shit is still paired with zen 2, doesn't come with the bluray drive nor does it come with a stand as they cost extra. Absolutely nuts.

Yep, Sony is delusional if they think they can sell lots of PS5 Pros in this economy and at that price. And, as others pointed in the thread about it, the exchange rate is utterly ridiculous.

It really is such a ludicrous decision by Sony. Majority of the components are so dang cheap now other than the GPU and yea it's 60 compute units but come on. There is no way that aren't getting that for pennies on the dollar. This feels like a maximum greed decision since they know xbox has cuckholded themselves since Xbox One and Nintendo is in a different universe. It really is one of those "Do you want a playstation or pc?"

Outside of GTA VI for a year, there is legit nothing that I could give any shits about when it comes to playstation this generation lol.

I'll be honest here, I don't think components have dropped as much in price as you may think. Neither MSoft nor Sony have done permanent price cuts despìte the consoles being 4 years old. In fact, Sony raised the price of the digital only version when the slim model launched.

And if we look at what's going on with PC parts, we see that TSMC has kept rising prices of its waffers, and GDDR6 memory hasn't become much more cheaper either. It's only NVMe drives that have seen a reduction in price (and that has already changed a bit this year) and likely the other parts.

Consoles aren't becoming cheaper like they used to, and that's one of the reasons current consoles aren't selling as well as previous ones did. PS5 had shortages, yes, but so did PS4 and yet it still sold better. Will GTA 6 help with that? Sure, to a point, but I still think PS5 may be Sony's lowest selling console because it won't reach a low enough price to allow part of their traditional customers to buy it. At least new.
