Yeah I think is very true. For the amount of money you're spending, we're entering an era where we're getting a very diminished return on visuals. I mean, really the biggest upgrade this generation imo that has truly felt like a "next-gen" experience is SSDs.
seeing "the last of us 2" being trotted out again like an old show dog is wild. i think it speaks to how good The Last of Us 2 looked even on 2013 hardware, and how little gaming tech appears to have advanced. diminishing returns are returning diminished https://t.co/ay6Tc1qYAO
