Probably? A 4090 consumes like 350W on average despite its TDP, and let's say the 5090 is 168 SMs, so 40 more than the 4090's 128 SMs. That's still less than 500W on average even if efficiency is about the same.

Of course, if you're going for a high-end overclocked Intel processor too... it might not be.
