Wii U was already outdated of course for most of its life but there is the Game Pad and console itself to worry about. Well, I don't think it matters anymore what it costs to produce. It's more a business decision. They have all figured out that consumers will continue to pay launch prices for the duration of the cycle, so why lower it? That's the basis for my prediction, but we'll see.
