Israeli raids continue in Tulkarem, causing widespread destruction

Israeli forces are continuing their raids across the occupied West Bank, including in Tulkarem, where, accompanied by several bulldozers, they entered the city from its western part and further besieged the Martyr Dr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Al-Israa Speciality Hospital.

Wafa news agency is reporting that the bulldozers began destroying roads around al-Alimi roundabout, “causing widespread destruction to the city’s infrastructure and property”.


Israeli army forces Al Jazeera photographer to delete image taken in Hebron

Our colleague at Al Jazeera Arabic has reported that Israeli forces made an Al Jazeera photographer delete an image taken at the entrance to Shuhada Street in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.

Earlier, the Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported that its photographer had his camera’s memory card seized by the Israeli army in Ramallah.

Israel has been conducting a widespread military operation across the occupied West Bank for the sixth consecutive day in which at least 30 Palestinians have been killed.


Tulkarem municipality shuts down water supply after Israeli raids

The municipality of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank, temporarily closed its main water line valves because Israeli shelling damaged distribution infrastructure in the city’s besieged refugee camp.

“This measure comes within the framework of our continuing efforts to repair the damage and ensure the return of water to the affected areas as quickly as possible,” the local authority said in a post on Meta.

Israeli forces have launched a large-scale military incursion into the occupied West Bank. For days, they have carried out deadly drone attacks and hundreds of troops have stormed cities and refugee camps.


One person shot by Israeli forces in occupied West Bank

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reports one person has been shot and seriously wounded by Israeli soldiers in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. The victim was hit with live rounds in the back and the chest and was taken to hospital.


Palestinian fighters ambush Israeli military vehicle, causing casualties

Fighters from the al-Quds Brigades say they were able to detonate an explosive device near an Israeli military vehicle in the Tulkarem camp in the occupied West Bank, “achieving a direct hit”.

The al-Quds Brigades said an Israeli soldier was killed and others wounded after fighters directed small-arms fire on the vehicle after the blast.

“Our fighters are still engaging in violent clashes with bullets and explosive devices with the invading forces in various areas of their deployment. Our fight continues and our weapons are deployed in all areas,” said the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in a statement.

Fighting rages after Israeli forces launched a days-long, large-scale incursion into the occupied West Bank, killing at least 30 Palestinians and destroying vast areas in the north.


Twelve-year-old girl hit by live fire during occupied West Bank raid

A 12-year-old girl was hit by Israeli gunfire in Tulkarem, the occupied West Bank, and was taken to the hospital, the Palestine Red Crescent Society says. Her condition is unclear.
