Now, your question about whether "every game" is more than fair. :) The bottom line is that I think they should put every game simultaneously on all platforms. But my guess is that if they want to retake some of the console market in the future, then I would wait for sure and keep some big-name exclusives (Halo, Gears, Forza, etc.). But again, financially speaking, there is no argument there. I'm talking from a business standpoint, not a gamer who favors one platform.

Okay, let me see if I understand your point; so you're saying that exclusive games are worthless when it comes to attracting new customers now, but somehow will be good enough in the future to "retake some of the console market" if they so desire?

And if you wanna talk from a business standpoint, then I would advise you to check the Financial Reports for the last 2 quarters. In case you missed it, revenue was down YoY for both quarters, even thought MS just released 4 games on Playstation during that period (and SoT being one of the best selling games on PS) so clearly sales for those games were not enough to offset the loss in market share.

And if your answer is "Oh, but hardware sales were going to decline anyway" then I will have to ask you, why are X1 owners being less interested in upgrading than PS4 owners? I mean, there are still 25 million X1 owners out there, and those people must be Xbox fans to some degree, so why are they not upgrading?

You have been passive-aggressive in your replies since the start, and I hit some of your buttons with my points because now you are really going all in, lol.

At this point, you are just all out to try to prove a point that does not even exist for argument, and because you do not like that someone is okay with Microsoft publishing games on other platforms. I'm here for the money (I own a lot of Microsoft stocks), for the Xbox ecosystem; I don't care about the plastic box. I prefer (by far) the Xbox/PC ecosystem, but I'm not fighting some wars to justify and protect my purchases of my Xbox consoles...

Also, you are making no sense at all when you talk about the last financial reports (I know it sounds nice to just put that somewhere in your reply), but we are talking about potential revenues here. And no, putting 4 AA games on another platform long after release has nothing to do with putting their AAA day 1 on Play Station. You can also come up with answers to your made-up questions, again, unrelated to the potential revenue stream of selling AAA on another platform.

I'm trying to be friendly and give you some points (like the exclusive one, which is more of a 'why not if they still want to keep some exclusive'), but you are just obnoxious. The fact that you believe selling Day 1 Xbox Studios AAA games on Play Station will not make any sense financially is just nuts, end of story. You may be upset if Microsoft does that and frankly, as an Xbox fan I would be (I am...), but my point is about the business side of it. I'm not going to argue further here.
