The 2024 US Presidential thread is more random, quick bits, less focus. This thread is more directly about policy. It's more detail oriented and will lend to lengthy posts that would get lost, or go unread, in the other election thread. |
Is this thread more about policy?
I think it's a common problem with political threads that they jump around. You start off with talking about Kamala's economic policies, and you move on to how Bush's economic policies were bad, and then Reagan's, and then you start talking about other issues with Reagan, and now you're 10 pages past talking about Kamala's economic policies.
I don't think the Attempted Assassination on Trump thread has talked about anything with regards to the Attempted Assassination in like 15 pages; aside from a few random posts probably.
It's kind of hard to keep conversation open enough to talk about related issues, but closed enough to stay on topic.
