Interesting. Turns out that historically Sudzka has been part of Kiev Governate and in the 1897 census the population was a majority of ethnic Ukrainians. Seems a case to be made that the town is historically Ukrainian and should be returned to Kyiv’s rule. Or that’s how Russia’s logic goes, no?
