I suppose, if you're a triple-owner, you are definately amongst the hardcore gaming crowd, and you obviously saw gaming promise in several of each system's titles.
There's a degree of uniformity here amongst titles, and there doesn't seem to be any serious system bias, given the advantages/disadvantages each system has at this point in the current generation (i.e. strong 1st party titles from Nintendo and Sony, great 3rd party exclusives for X360, and X360 has generally has had better-honed game engines until recently).
With that, I'm going to take the risk of heating up the thread a bit. If you're a triple owner, do you have a preferred system? Why? Don't knock the other two systems in your description if you can avoid it, please. If you don't really have a preference, say so.
I'm going to assume that, as likely hardcore gamers, most triple-owners don't think in terms of systems, but rather in terms of games. Personally, I don't care whether an HD game comes out on the 360 or PS3 -- I'll buy the one that looks/plays better in the end, if its a cross platform title, because I can choose. I have a slight preference for the PS3 controller, but its a pretty minor detail -- the 360 controller is just fine overall (its not "The Duke" from the XBox days, which was terrible). Thus when I'm on the which-system? fence for a title, I go with the PS3, just for the familiar controller. If I play online, I might grab the 360 version for features of Live I prefer of PSN, etc.
The Wii is different. I bought the Wii to replace my GC, and play new Nintendo games. I have no burning desire to see publishers push HD-grade titles onto the Wii -- I want unique Wii titles, that fit my perceived "theme" of the Wii (you know what I'm talking about -- Nintendo-styled titles. The fun stuff you've enjoyed since... forever). Except for a couple spooky titles, like the RE series, I don't want 480p blood, machineguns, etc. I want the next Mario, the next Zelda, the next Fire Emblem, whatever awesome title Nintendo rolls out next. I didn't buy it for 3rd party titles -- which isn't to say I won't buy awesome 3rd party games for it... just that I don't care if 3rd parties ignore the Wii with games that don't seem like they could have come from Nintendo.
I'm curious.. is this similar to other triple-owner perceptions? I think I would never be disappointed to hear about an exclusive going to a particular system... except in the case where a game that would be cooler on the HD consoles would be announced for the Wii only -- not to knock the Wii... but as I gamer, I know I'd want those kinds of games on the PS360.
To my gamer mind, Wiis are for jumps and hammers, not guns.
