Israeli forces carry out raids, arrests in Tulkarem

The Israeli military has carried out raids in the occupied West Bank’s Tulkarem governorate, arresting three people, the Wafa news agency reports.

Israeli forces surrounded the family home of a wanted man in the city of Tulkarem, arresting his father and brother in order to pressure the man to surrender himself.

The Israeli military also arrested a man after raiding his house in the town of Faroun, south of Tulkarem.

Israeli forces make arrests near Hebron, Tubas

Israeli forces have stormed the towns of Beit Ula and Bani Naim in the Hebron governorate and arrested two Palestinians in their homes, reports Wafa news agency.

Further north in the town of Tammun, near Tubas, Israeli forces raided a home and arrested another Palestinian, said Wafa.


Two foreign activists injured during West Bank clashes

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reports a 40-year-old American activist has been shot with live bullets during confrontations between local Palestinians and Israeli security forces in the town of Beita near Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The Red Crescent also reported Palestinians were injured by the deployment of tear gas by Israeli soldiers during these clashes.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, another foreign activist was injured in an Israeli settler attack on Palestinian shepherds near Juba in the northern Jordan Valley.

The Wafa news agency reported that the settlers “assaulted” the foreigner and abducted one Palestinian man, Ahmed Hussein Abu Mohsen, who was found later near the Mehola settlement with severe injuries.
