Russian intelligence knew for two weeks about the impending invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was the largest since the beginning of the war, a source close to the Kremlin told Bloomberg. According to him, the warning was ignored by the head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, who, in turn, did not convey the information to Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin's patience with Gerasimov is running out, but Putin is unlikely to decide to fire him, Bloomberg's source said.

I don't know if this is true or someone in the Kremlin wants Gerasimov dead
