This may be the first time that Ukraine itself is invading Russia rather than "Russian Volunteer Forces" Hmm.

I don't expect it to amount to much, it's likely another distraction as Russia is advancing elsewhere so they want to force Russia to pull reserves elsewhere. I've always said though that the best way to deal with Russia's mines may be to go around them instead of through them but the West would never allow such a move, I expect America will be on the phone soon telling Ukraine to stop, stupidly.

I don't expect this to amount to much, either. Ukraine is in no position to go on the offensive. They are probably just wanting to fight some unprepared border guards and get out of the area soon.
