Sequelitis Syndrome. I can ignore most of Disgaea flaws because it was a fresh game from a poor company. Disgaea 2 on the other hand doesn`t try any new or risky ideas (like every Nippon Ichi game), looks pretty bad and got some boring characters. The plot isn`t good enough to keep me glued like Disgaea. The level design isn`t challenging or clever like FE RD.
It got all the problems Disgaea had without a interesting enough plot to make up for it. Polishing the game would have helped a lot.
