How do you deal with having to give up/rage quit on a game?

I don't think I've rage quit a game permanently.
There are 3 games I remember quitting because I wasn't enjoying it enough.

A Call of Duty game that friends tried to get me into.
Star Ocean 4.
And Bloodborne.

I actually went back to finish Star Ocean 4 though, which I regretted doing. lol
And while I like certain soulslike games (Elden Ring, Ni-Oh, Code Vein, etc) Bloodborne just didn't feel like it was for me.

I have quit many more games than that though.
But not because I didn't like them enough, but because I 'put them on hold' with the plan to go back to them later. And instead they ended up in my backlog.
