Quite frankly, if this is supposed to showcase French Culture, whomever staged or led this should be canned/fired. Really made the beginning of this year's Olympics off to a false start.

I've already commented on the various salacious things to see, so I won't go over that again. But I found it a bit odd that they would have someone looking like Marie Antoinette holding the decapitated head. It's like they want to celebrate not the person, but the execution itself. Was she that bad? Or are they making a joke about the things France has been known for?

Even in their so called apology or explanation it just came off hypocritical. 

Like they were going for shock value instead of highlighting what makes French culture unique.

My fear, is if this really is French culture... It's not something to be proud of or a good model for the rest of the world to see.

I've been seeing some TV vs Real world footage and it seems to be disappointing quite a few locals so far with the Olympic experience.
