Israeli soldiers are blowing up residential buildings east of war-torn Khan Younis amid Israeli tank fire, our Al Jazeera Arabic colleagues are reporting.
The latest attacks come as Israel expanded its assault on the south of the Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians and forcing thousands more people into the heavily overcrowded al-Mawasi area.
Israeli military bombs home in northern Gaza, killing five
The Israeli military has bombed a home in the al-Jurn area of Jabalia in northern Gaza, killing five people, the Wafa news agency reports.
Wafa also reports that Israeli fighter jets have bombed several sites across the Gaza Strip in recent hours, including Khan Younis, Rafah and the Bureij camp, without reporting any casualties.
