Go as deep as you like, I am quite sure that I will understand. Tell me about bandwidth advantages and texture memory requirements. Apart from the smaller file sizes to stream, rendering on the fly. Read the following article and share your analysis. http://www.psu.com/4D-Graphics--A-Reality-Only-For-PlayStation-3--a1063-p1.php |
Omg, the PS3 is really the best gaming machine ever created!

Don't read anything below this, if you don't want to be disappointed. :/

First of all, those all are demoed on pc as you can clearly see theres fraps text in one of the vids. Secondly thats nothing that even X360s GPU/CPU can't do. Actually it would be bless to use procedural textures with X360 because of limits of DVD. (I really wonder why they don't use those already. I mean 'offline' procedural textures.)
How many games use that already? How many games will use that? I am quite sure that not too many as I have seen this arrogance from side of PS3 developers not to use even compressed files in PS3 games.
Also that HD thing made me laugh, because we all know how many HD games(native) there are on PS3. Well, it is capable of making HD resolutions, but if game is even a bit complicated it will render fps way too low on HD resolutions.
Last thing about the article, this comment made me laugh as well you can see clearly that those demos were running on pc.
"Only possible on PS3."
Btw, do you really believe all that fud or are you just playing around with us?
[confession]
Btw, if you ask me on which 'side' I am the answer is neither. I just can't take all that fud and neither can many other. This PS3 fanboyism is like a religion and its getting even more annoying than real religions.
