1. What possible future China war are you alluding to? If it doesn't involve Taiwan, then with who do you believe it will?
2. Maybe, just maybe, consider that your sources on military strategy/tactics might be ill-informed. This war has ushered in the advent of drone warfare. War has now forever been changed.
