Mise said: Notes on the second part of the review:
- Incredible Drowning Powers are not exactly uncommon in video games.
Drowning powers?
- You can't really hear the music in the video, so why is it that bad?
When I revise my revision, I'll clarify it.
- Yay, hyperbole extravaganza. Like I said earlier, cut these things down a bit.
Okay, but where are the hyperbole sentences, and what should I cut down?
- I'd guess that unlimited flight is a huge no-no in a platforming game, so that's why Tails gets tired.
I will make it more clear, next time. He should at least, just, slowly descend to the ground. But no. He makes a moaning sound like a little wimp, and falls from the sky.
- Can't Tails just jump on people instead of throwing rings at them?
I mentioned that. I said, "He should be able to attack by using himself," which covers everything, including jumping on enemies.
- Wonky cameras what?
I talked about the bad camera.
- Curse you for trying to apply real life logic in a video game!
Where?
- Great music at the 3:23 mark. :p
Thanks.
- Clipping glitches FTW
Where?
- Great, driving stages. That flying car segment looks just painful.
Definitely.
- Well, it's a platformer. Botched jumps usually mean death. :p
What do you mean?
- The last thirty seconds have to go. Way overdone and just plain annoying.
I'll fix it.
Overall, I'd say it's somewhat better than your original review. Most of my old points still apply, though now the pace feels really jittery. While I was annoyed by the "everything and it's dead mother sucks" - message that was constantly present, you justified the gameplay complaints with footage almost every time, which is good.
