Israeli military says it stopped air attack from Lebanon
The Israeli military has said it stopped a “suspicious aerial target in the skies of Lebanon” before it crossed into Israel, in a post on X. The update comes about three hours after the Israeli military said one of its fighter jets stopped another air attack on Israel from the direction of the Red Sea.
Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah claimed to have hit Israel’s Mount Meron military base, as Israeli army radio reported a barrage of about 60 rocket attacks on northern Israel from southern Lebanon.
Israeli jets raid southern Lebanon
Israel’s military says its fighters carried out air attacks on several areas in southern Lebanon overnight, including in Aita al-Shaab. In a post on X, it said it hit Hezbollah buildings, including a weapons warehouse.
Israel has been responsible for about 83 percent of more than 7,400 attacks launched from either side of the border since October. The violence has seen more than 90,000 people displaced from their homes and villages in southern Lebanon.
Israel kills dozens of livestock in Lebanon’s Jabal Toura
We have reported earlier that the Israeli military carried out many air raids on southern Lebanon overnight.
The army claimed the targets included a Hezbollah site in the Jabal Toura mountain region, a weapons depot in Qabrikha, a building used by the group in Tallouseh, and other infrastructure in Hula and Aita al-Shaab.
However, the Lebanese media said the Jabal Toura attack targeted a farm belonging to the Ammar family at dawn, killing dozens of livestock. The Bint Jbeil online newspaper said the Lebanese Civil Defense teams were still searching for a missing shepherd following that raid. It published a graphic video of the killed animals spread around a destroyed house.
More than 700 goats killed in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon
Israeli air raids on southern Lebanon have hit a goat pen, killing more than 700 animals, according to Lebanon’s state-run news agency (NNA). The strikes on Mount Tourah in the Jezzine area also destroyed the home of a shepherd, a Syrian national, who escaped unharmed, it said.

Israeli raids in southern Lebanon kill one person: Report
The Lebanese National News Agency reports that Israeli raids on the Qlaileh area in the Tyre district targeting a motorcycle have killed one person and injured another. A correspondent in Marjayoun also reported that the town of Burj al-Muluk was hit by heavy artillery shelling after midnight, causing material damage to property.
Israeli forces claim killing of Hezbollah fighter in southern Lebanon
Earlier, Hezbollah had announced that one of its fighters, Mustafa Hassan Salman, also known as Abu Hassan, had been killed in Lebanon. In a post on X, the Israeli army took responsibility for the killing, saying it used an aircraft at night to kill Salman in the El Qleaa area in southern Lebanon. It said Salman was part of Hezbollah’s “rocket and missile unit”.
Israeli jets attack southern Lebanon
The Israeli military has said that its fighter jets attacked buildings used by Hezbollah in Maroun al-Ras. Additional infrastructure was struck in Aita al-Shab and Hula, the army said.
The army said it was in retaliation to nine rockets fired from Lebanon at the Upper Galilee, which did not cause any injuries.
