Very well explained and points to needing outside intervention, at least in sanctions, to try to solve the long ongoing conflict. Unless Israeli elections can somehow remove or at least reduce the Settler stranglehold on the government, the conflict will not be solved.

Peace in Israel-Palestine can only be achieved by solving the Westbank settler problem and removing the blockade on Gaza.
