The grass is always greener on the other side but in this case the toll on the way back is higher than on the way there (by a few hundred bucks).

I have all three systems and I say don't do it.

The Wii is great for company (fun to make miis of family members and bowl a few frames), and it has a lot of fun pick up and play type of stuff. But very few games have real depth other than Mario, Metroid, and Zelda (which plays better on cube by the way). For me the novelty wore off really quick and it got boring. Mine just sits there, waiting for the next AAA Nintendo game or family function and that's about it.

I'd take a PS3 or 360 over the Wii any day of the week. The constant volume of quality first and thrid party software, the online experience, the graphics, their just isn't any comparison.

DON'T DO IT
