GOG is going to start deleting oversized cloud saves at the end of August

Heads up, GOG users: The storefront has announced that cloud savesexceeding the default allocation of 200MB per game will be deleted on August 31, because they're just taking up too damn much space.
Cloud saves are simply saved games that are stored remotely rather than on your PC. They're a handy way to access an ongoing game across multiple devices, or to pick up where you left off if you decide to reinstall an old game. It's also handy protection against hardware failure: Your hard drive might die, but the cloud is forever. Well, except when it's not.
"As the size and number of games increase, so does the demand for Cloud Storage," GOG said in a warning about the upcoming trim. "These limits ensure that all players have access to sufficient and manageable space for their game progress, and that we keep the associated costs under control. By optimizing our storage allocation, we aim to continue providing a reliable and user-friendly platform for everyone."

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition will be fully released in Fall 2024

Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’ has announced that a new version of his HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition for The Witcher 3 will come out in 2024. To celebrate this announcement, the modder shared a new video that you can find below.
This video compares the upcoming high-quality textures that will be featured in the pack with the vanilla ones that The Witcher 3 Next-Gen uses. It also compares the mod with the game’s Complete Edition. And, as you will see, this will be a must-have mod for everyone who wants to replay this title.

YouTube’s ‘Etan Solrac’ is currently working on a fan remake of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker in Unreal Engine 5, and shared a new video from it.
In this video, we get to see a comparison between UE5’s Lumen and SSGI. It also provides an update on the status of this project. Spoiler alert, this won’t be a full-fledged free game. However, Solrac claimed that he’d love to finish the project and upload it so that all Zelda fans can play it. Well… that is until Nintendo takes notice of it and shuts it down.
From what I know, the artist has only recreated the Forsaken Fortress location. He also used a pretty solid 3D model for Link, so that’s kind of cool. I can’t see any enemies to fight in the videos that he has shared though. Perhaps the combat mechanics will be implemented in a later version?
Anyway, this fan remake has potential, so hopefully Solrac will keep working on it. And yes. As soon as he releases this fan remake, I’ll be sure to let you know about it.
