With Nintendo guaranteed to get 10 years of CoD probably starting in 2025 with the Switch 2 and Series S still being a target platform, it'll take quite a while for major money makers like CoD to move on from last gen.
Hell, majority of publishers still haven't moved on from last gen. But live service games especially won't be moving on for a while longer. Especially when the information came out that half of Sony's active users were still PS4 players.
