July feels like an odd month to launch a new generation of CPUs. It would also give board partners little time between Computex and launch to showcase their motherboards.
The number of cores per CPU isn't much of a surprise, to be honest.
The leak about that R9 Zen5 seems promising, but it's hard to get excited with only one benchmark result.
