Baltic Members of Parliament warned German government representatives that if the Russians manage to achieve a strategic breakthrough in eastern Ukraine because the West is only half-heartedly helping Ukraine, the Baltic states and Poland would not wait until Russian troops were deployed on their border, they would send troops into Ukraine themselves.

It's starting to feel like the biggest threat to NATO isn't Russia but America and Western Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain). There's a clear divide happening and if Ukraine falls or if Russia achieves a breakthrough then there's going to be a lot of countries on NATO's eastern flank rightfully angry at America + Western Europe. Trust between the western flank and eastern flank will be hurt. NATO's eastern flank may start doing things for themselves, ignoring how much NATO's cowardly western flank moan about it.
