And the third part of the Monday news:

https://www.pcgamer.com/games/strategy/there-are-supposedly-three-total-war-games-in-development-one-of-them-total-war-star-wars/
According to a "reliable source" cited by Dualshockers, Creative Assembly is currently working on three new Total War games, with a licensed Star Wars game being one of them.

Build a fairytale kingdom in this laid-back, wholesome city builder
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/strategy/build-a-fairytale-kingdom-in-this-laid-back-wholesome-city-builder/
Fairytale fantasy city-builder Fabledom launched this week, picking up pretty positive responses from early players. In Fabledom, from developer Grenaa games, you build up a little city-state in a fantasy world and expand it to meet your neighbors and the general challenges of a world where bridges naturally attract trolls and castles naturally attract dragons.

Lootun is an auto-battling RPG for people who just really love managing their party's gear
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/lootun-is-an-auto-battling-rpg-for-people-who-just-really-love-managing-their-partys-gear/
A new auto-battler RPG in the idle or incremental vein has released to pretty positive reception: Lootun, which describes itself as a game focused on "Character/Skill Progression, Item Hunting, and Inventory Management." With a slightly more focused loop of gathering gear and picking through it as your characters auto-battle enemies, Lootun is pretty focused and active compared to very idle-focused games and doesn't require long periods of inactivity to progress.

Here's the dystopian cooking simulator about frying up illegal eggs in Antarctica that you've always wanted
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/heres-the-dystopian-cooking-simulator-about-frying-up-illegal-eggs-in-antarctica-that-youve-always-wanted/
Here's a weird new indie that has my undivided attention: Arctic Eggs, a game where you're in a miserable future seeking to escape a dystopian prison with nothing but your wits, strong wrists, and a frying pan. You cook for others, you cook to survive, and you cook to explore the low-poly, lo-res, scanlined brutalist heckscape that is this weird frozen penal colony.

See some lost alpha footage of the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/see-some-lost-alpha-footage-of-the-original-vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/
Wesp, who you may know as the heroic modder behind the unofficial patch for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, has been on an uploading spree, providing us with a bunch of lost Bloodlines footage via his YouTube channel.
The most interesting of the bunch is a low-quality recording of a live playthrough with one of the developers, presumably from a convention. Familiar scenes play out differently, with Cal the bartender and Jeanette Voerman being met at the strip club Vesuvius rather than at The Asylum. A later scene shows the arrival of the fleshcrafted sewer monster, only she has actual facial animation missing from the released game. It's a slightly less impactful scene when she screams at you without even opening her mouth.

Ubisoft's XDefiant system requirements are so low that even a manky old potato will run the game

Ubisoft might be acting all fashionably late to the multiplayer shooter party, but its forthcoming XDefiant looks like it will be accessible to just about every gamer out there, thanks to having some of the lowest PC system requirements I've seen in years.

Undertale developer Toby Fox assures fans that Deltarune chapter 4 is underway, 'I don't want anyone to burn out waiting for this'
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/undertale-developer-toby-fox-assures-fans-that-deltarune-chapter-4-is-underway-i-dont-want-anyone-to-burn-out-waiting-for-this/
Undertale developer Toby Fox has confirmed that work on the next chapter of his new game, Deltarune, is going smoothly. While there's no confirmed release date yet for chapters 3 and 4, he does confirm that the dev team is making great progress.

The Taskmaster VR game is out in a few weeks, and Little Alex Horne is resigned to what his avatar can expect from you sickos: 'They will definitely do things to me'

Taskmaster VR, the official virtual reality-ification of the phenomenally popular comedy TV show, has finally gotten its release date. It'll hit on June 13 this year and, more than anything, show host and creator (Little) Alex Horne is just worried about what players are going to do to him.

Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios opens new doors in Warsaw to help share the load of not 1, but 2 'very ambitious RPGs' in development
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/baldurs-gate/baldurs-gate-3-developer-larian-studios-opens-new-doors-in-warsaw-to-help-share-the-load-of-not-1-but-2-very-ambitious-rpgs-in-development/
Larian Studios kinda knocked it out of the park with Baldur's Gate 3—and while it'll be leaving Dungeons & Dragons for some time, I'm nonetheless hyped beyond belief to see what Swen Vincke & Co. are cooking.
It's been known that Larian's tackling two projects since April, as per a Steam community update shared by founder Swen Vincke, but he noted that it was "still early days". While I wouldn't think Larian'd tease and then ding-dong ditch in such a fashion, it wouldn't be the first time an early promise turned out to not be feasible.
But it really looks like it's full steam ahead for Larian—as per a recent tweet made by the developer announcing the opening of a studio in Warsaw, Poland: "With two very ambitious RPGs now starting development, what better way to see our visions realised than by growing the team and opening a 7th studio in the heart of Poland’s lively gaming scene!"
