Side rant, there's too many damn weebs who think cause they watch some anime they know all about Japanese culture and if they acted as they do in in the West in Japan, they'd probably be looked at like a fucking weirdo, I know I would if some dude came to UK dressed like the British flag attempting to speak in an annoying posh voice, jerking off the monarchy.
Imagine if I came to Texas and ended every sentence with "YEEEHAW COWBOY" dressed in full on cowboy gear 24/7, doing finger bangs in the shape of a gun, with a piece of wheat in my mouth. Blasting my country music. I'll speak in an extremely stereotypical way, something like "that low-down polecat stole my seat!" and I'll challenge them to a duel in the street.

It's one thing to be a fan, that's fine, if you want to genuinely learn about another countries culture it can be seen as respectful and a nice thing but trying to claim it for yourself because you like anime and then bastardise it, is when it becomes too much, especially when you don't live in the country, there's many who are awesome, but there's also a lot of weebs in the West who I find really fucking weird with their obsession with Japan.
