Itamar Ben-Gvir pretty much is. Netanyahu is mostly out for self preservation. He has to stay the course or will end up in jail. There's no other exit for him since the corruption trial will continue as soon as the government falls and Ben-Gvir will make sure of that if Netanyahu strafes of the path of total destruction of Gaza and resettlement of it after. Plus investigation into what went wrong on Oct 7 will fall on Netanyahu's head, as well as the ICC is investigating him for his actions in 2014 and after.

Israel in general doesn't get to see what actually goes on in Gaza, they get the sanitized IDF version from Hagari while hammering in the fact that without the war, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran will wipe out Israel. They don't even get the choice to watch more balanced news anymore since Al Jazeera was banned. And all the social media stuff gets explained away as disinformation, Palestinians faking it, don't trust anything they say/show.

Dehumanization of Palestinians has been going on for many decades and starts from birth. It works just as well against people right next door, like most US citizens didn't care what happened to Afghani and Iraqi Civilians (of which the US is responsible for over 400 thousand civilian deaths)

The bigger problem is, Biden is in the same boat. He can't admit he was wrong, he already gets threatened with impeachment for pausing one shipment. Nor does he want to admit he was wrong, his indoctrination is strong as well. He wants to see less civilian deaths, which just means go a little slower, less war crimes in the news.

It's a fucking mess and neither Europe nor Asia will actually do anything about it, neither the Arab countries. Everyone is merely virtue signalling while keeping relations with Israel intact (bar a few outliers like Colombia, South Africa and Turkey and really only Turkey has enacted meaningful sanctions)
