Biden urges US House to pass bill with $14bn for Israel

As for Zelenskyy, he does good at home but just another hypocrite on the international stage. He has his hands full though, I don't blame him for not having the time to see what his 'partner' is up to while fighting Russian's armed with Iranian weapons.

Zelenskyy condemns Iranian attack, says Ukraine needs help, like Israel

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated in a post on X that “Iran’s actions threaten the entire region and the world, just as Russia’s actions threaten a larger conflict, and the obvious collaboration between the two regimes in spreading terror must face a resolute and united response from the world”.

Speaking later in his nightly video address, the Ukrainian president said the world had seen that “Israel was not alone in its defence – the threats in the sky were also destroyed by its allies”. “And when Ukraine says allies cannot turn a blind eye to Russian missiles and drones, it means that it is necessary to act, and act strongly,” Zelenskyy said.

In September 2022, Zelenskyy said he was “in shock” at Israel’s failure to give Kyiv anti-missile systems to help counter Russian attacks. The Ukrainian government has been a strong supporter of Israel during its war in Gaza, despite many critics pointing to what they perceive to be the hypocrisy of decrying Russian occupation of Ukrainian territory while supporting Israel as it occupies Palestinian territory.

I've just thought about something that has annoyed me more, when this bill is passed which includes aid for Ukraine and Israel, only Ukraine's portion of the aid will be a loan and not Israel's, Lol. The Republicans screaming about how much this costs them (incorrectly) so Ukraine's aid must be a loan but they're perfectly okay with spaffing away $14bn for Israel, a country which already has some of the most modern technology in the world and has western countries rushing to its aid with fighter jets unlike Ukraine. Surely they see that Ukraine needs the money far more than Israel does? So either they both should be loans or neither should be a loan.

As for Zelenskyy, I don't blame him, I'm sure he sees what Israel is doing in Gaza but when you're fighting for your life you don't get to be picky in who your allies are, I hate Israel's government but if I were in Zelenskyy's position I too would be trying to charm them, Israel has some of the best AD in the entire world and if they could share even a little bit of that with Ukraine, that would be amazing for Ukrainians. It's a bit like Republicans, if I was in Zelenskyy's position I sure as shit wouldn't be speaking about Republicans like I do in here, he has to try and play nice to practically everyone because the lives of every Ukrainian are in his hands, he has been insanely patient with Republicans and I'm sure behind the scenes he is infuriated by them.

While I'm no fan of Israel/Netanyahu and I believe Iran had a right to respond after Israel bombed an Iranian consulate in Syria, something they didn't even tell America they were going to do because they knew how fucked it was, that doesn't change that Iran also is a terrorist regime backing terrorist proxies Hezbollah and Houthis. Hezbollah, Houthis, Iran, Israel, Hamas, none of them actually give a shit about the innocent Palestinians, they just want their little fights and to wipe each other off the face of the Earth. Just because ISIS hates Russia doesn't make them good for example. They're all just a bunch of religious fanatics and Netanyahu needs his wars going to remain in power. Not to mention Iran violated the airspace of Jordan.

Plus Iran is supplying Russia to kill Ukrainians while Israel sits on the fence like a coward but Ukraine has no benefit at all in calling out Israel and every benefit in trying to charm them, whether it is making comparisons to what they're both going through, to the fact that they're both a large Jewish community, to the fact that the West should defend Ukraine the same way it does Israel, you can see a little frustration in his words sometimes but he has to play this very carefully, Ukraine showing support to Israel may in turn result in Israel showing support to Ukraine and he even uses the recent attack to point out Western hypocrisy in a small way when he says about Israel not being alone and Western allies must not turn a blind eye to Russia.

Leave it to us to call out Israel, Republicans, etc. Zelenskyy needs to balance a fine line.
