My favorite year for gaming overall was 2023 (surpassing 2007), but regarding Switch specifically, launch year was just incredible. I'd still probably go with 2023 though; it's hard to match Tears, Wonder, Prime Remastered, Pikmin 4 and SMRPG all in the same year.
