The SNES had 3D graphics too. So did the Genesis (Star Fox, and Virtua Racing, among others). Analog was unknown amongst the world of console gaming. So was force feedback (rumble). The PS1 was an awesome system, in my opinion, more fun than the N64, but the systems innovations couldn't be denied.
