Yeah, that's an odd take to have, considering how we've had to spend years telling the industry that we can have both MP and SP games, there doesn't need to only be just the one type of game, and it's still stupid that some companies believe that it's MP or nothing.
People seem to think the internet will last forever, or that we'll never have a world war, where the internet is taken out of commission. Like imagine if the net just goes down for months for billions, or goes down in general forever, all those MP based games will forever be lost to time, especially the modern ones, because companies decided to stop bothering to let players host their own servers.
